Driving license

As of 24 September 2018, Danish citizens may drive in Malaysia with an international driving license accompanied with a valid Danish driving license or declaration from Danish police on the holder’s driving rights.

International driving license

To apply for an international driving license, please bring the following to your appointment:

  1. Application form.
  2. 2 passport size photos
  3. Valid Danish driving license
  4. Current passport
  5. Proof of Payment.Fee is to be remitted to the Embassy’s Bank account.

Danish driving license

Individuals not habitually resident[1] in Denmark, who have lost their Danish driving license, can request a declaration from the Danish police authorities confirming the holder's driving rights though written application to:
