If you wish to travel to Denmark as a tourist, on a family/friend visit or on a business trip, you need to apply for Schengen short-stay visa
Denmark is part of the Schengen Region in Europe and therefore a short stay visa for Denmark is a so-called Schengen Visa. A Schengen visa is issued for the purpose of a short stay (less than 90 day within a 180 day period) in Denmark and other Schengen countries.
Schengen countries include Austria, Belgium, The Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
The Schengen visa is strictly a visitor's visa and does NOT give the holder right to reside or work in Denmark.
